Product description of Duimdrop
Duimdrop is a traditional liquorice product made from a combination of rye flour, glucose syrup, melado (sugar syrup), liquorice root extract, ammonium chloride, flavourings, sunflower oil, and colour (E153). This product has the characteristic liquorice flavour, enriched with a hint of ammonium chloride, which gives it a unique, salty twist. Duimdrop may contain a white coating; this is rye flour used during production to prevent the liquorice from sticking, and it is completely edible.
